Position is for an Accountant with a Health Care Facility Management company. Duties include, but are not limited to: Generate and analyze resident census and revenue reports to ensure accurate billing and reimbursement; Perform detailed analysis of aging reports by resident and insurance type to identify collection issues and trends; Supervise month-end and year-end closing operations, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting; Assign and monitor daily AR and billing tasks to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion by the AR team; Supervise follow-up and resolution of outstanding accounts receivable balances to reduce aging and improve cash flow; Assist facilities with insurance verification for residents to ensure accurate payer setup and prevent billing delays; Coordinate and manage insurance contracts, credentialing, enrollment, and attestation processes for multiple facilities; Initiate contract negotiations and outreach with target insurance companies to expand facility payer networks; Analyze financial trends by facility to support rate negotiations and payer contracting decisions; Negotiate contract rates with insurance payers based on facility needs, reimbursement trends, and payer performance; Assist in compiling and submitting credentialing packets as required by insurance providers; Complete Medicare, HMOs and commercial insurance enrollment applications per facility, ensuring compliance and accuracy; Ensure all insurance attestations are completed and properly documented for regulatory and operational use; Generate eligibility and send claims for Home Health Resident; Payment posting and reporting; Generate Consultation and IT billing to facility; and deposit and posting of payments. Support and conduct on-site financial audits for healthcare facilities to assess compliance, verify financial accuracy, and ensure proper billing and reimbursement processes. Manage the end-to-end billing cycle for Home Health services, including claims submission, collections, payment posting, and account monitoring for both private and government payers. Monitor and manage contract credentialing and attestation processes to maintain compliance with payer requirements. Maintain a centralized and organized repository of all contract documentation, including renewal dates, credentialing statuses, and amendments. Prepare and issue client/customer invoices for Evacare Group services. Record and reconcile cash receipts to ensure accurate revenue tracking and financial reporting.

Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and 2 years of experience. Experience as an Accountant Assistant is acceptable, or any suitable combination of education, training or experience thereof. Salary: $ 64,917 per Year
